FRED S. SHAPIRO
Fred S. Shapiro, who is the President and 100% owner of Fred S.
Shapiro & Associates, Inc., obtained a Bachelor of Science degree
from Towson University. Before founding FSA, Inc. Fred spent
thirteen years marketing, designing and administering qualified
retirement plans. He has conducted accredited seminars for the
Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, The Virginia
Society of Certified Public Accountants, and in addition, Life
Underwriting Associations including Baltimore, Suburban Maryland,
Northern Virginia and The District of Columbia on Qualified
Retirement Plans. Fred currently serves on the Board of Directors of
the Tiger Athletic Fund for Towson University
KAREN CAMPITELLI
Karen Campitelli has been with Fred S. Shapiro since he started
the company in 1997. Prior to that, she worked for Shapiro Pension
Consultants and AD Benefit Plans. She has 23 years of experience in
the retirement field. Karen earned her Bachelor of Science degree
with a concentration in Accounting at Towson University.
TRACY HUEY
Tracy Huey has been with Fred S. Shapiro & Associates, Inc. since
April of 1997. Prior to that, she worked for Integrated Health
Services, Inc. She has 14 years experience in the retirement field.
Tracy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business
Administration from Lock Haven University. She also earned her
Masters of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore.
BRAD FRIEDEL
Brad Friedel was hired by Fred S. Shapiro & Associates, Inc. in
March of 2007. Prior to that, he worked for 5 years with T Rowe
Price in the retirement division both as a registered investment
professional and as a sales consultant. He earned his bachelor’s
degree from Stevenson University in Business Communications. He is
currently a licensed Series 6, 63, 7, and 66 professional and holds
his RPF 1 and RPF 2 ASPPA designations.
DANIELLE "DANNIE" BARRON
Dannie Barron as been with Fred S. Shapiro & Associates, Inc. for
1 year working as an Assistant in Trust Accounting. She is a
graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Fine Arts and Business Administration.
DEE RASH
Dee Rash has been with Fred S. Shapiro & Associates, Inc. for 2
years as a Distribution specialist. She has 18 years of experience
in the retirement field. Dee is a graduate of Penn State University.
KIRSTEN ABSHIRE
Kirsten Abshire has been with Fred S. Shapiro & Associates, Inc.
since August of 2005. She is in the process of earning her
bachelor’s degree from University of Baltimore in Business
Administration with a concentration in Human Resources and will
complete it May of 2009.
CATHY MCELROY
Cathy McElroy has been with Fred S. Shapiro & Associates, Inc.
since November of 2006. She has 15 years of experience in the
retirement field.
MARY PETERS
Mary Peters has been with Fred S. Shapiro & Associates, Inc. as a
Pension Administrator since November of 1999. Prior to that she
worked in the banking and mortgage industry for over twenty years.
ELIZABETH H. LOSEY
Elizabeth H. Losey, a.k.a. BK, has worked for Fred Shapiro &
Associates, Inc for over 10 years. She has a Bachelor of Science
Degree from Virginia Tech with a minor in Business. BK’s primary
responsibility is plan compliance.
